When do LNAT results come out?

Candidates who sit on or before 26 January get their results by email in mid-February; after 26 January, in mid-August. The LNAT gives no exact day. Your universities see your score much sooner: from 21 October for tests sat by 20 October, then within 24 hours.

Can I resit the LNAT?

Not in the same admissions cycle. You sit it once per cycle, so the score you have is the one your universities see.

Will Oxford see my LNAT before deciding on interviews?

Yes. Oxford and Cambridge ask for the LNAT by 15 October, and universities can download those scores from 21 October, before interview invitations go out.

What is a good LNAT score?

There is no pass mark. Oxford's average for all applicants in the 2025-26 round was 24.94 and for offer holders 30.48. The score tool compares your score with each university's published figures.
