LNAT exam day
Bring your Pearson VUE confirmation and current photo ID. The name on your booking must match the ID exactly.
Before you leave
- Check the centre, date and arrival time on your confirmation.
- Pack one accepted, unexpired photo ID. Digital copies are refused.
- Compare your booking name with the ID letter by letter.
- Allow time for check-in.
The screen
Section A shows the passage on the left and one question on the right, with a flag button and the timer. You can review Section A during its minutes. Once Section B starts you cannot go back. Section B has its own minutes, three prompts and a word count.
Run your plan
- Check pace after passages , and .
- Answer before you flag. Wrong answers lose nothing.
- Start Section B with Section A out of your head.
Worked example The last Section A decision
minutes seconds left. One question unanswered. Two flags: one noted 'B says all, passage says most', one with no note.
Why this works: Answer the open question, then the noted flag, then the other. Leave no blank.
Why the tempting route fails: Opening the un-noted flag first burns time rebuilding the problem.
If something goes wrong
- Tell the staff straight away.
- Note the time, section and what happened.
- Keep any case number.
- Use LNAT's special-consideration process promptly.
