LNAT score for Jindal: requirements and cutoff evidence
Jindal’s B.A. LL.B. admissions page requires LNAT-UK and lists a minimum 45% in 10+2 or equivalent. A university blog about 2026 admission describes 20/42 as an indicative cutoff. Distinguish the programme rule from an indicative number

Both are university sources, but they answer different questions. Preserve the word "indicative" and the 2026 context when reporting the blog figure. This guide does not elevate it into a binding 2027 selection rule. The source links below allow you to inspect the wording yourself.
Use the requirement for your actual programme
The B.A. LL.B. admissions page also names the five-year B.Com. LL.B. and B.B.A. LL.B. programmes in its LNAT description. Do not apply that statement automatically to every Jindal qualification. Its general programme-requirements page lists different entrance routes for other degrees.
- Write down your exact degree title and intended entry year.
- Check the eligibility and selection section, not just an article headline.
- Confirm the test window, score-submission procedure and any round-specific deadline through the university’s official admissions route.
- If applying to UK universities too, check their deadlines separately. A date suitable for one institution may be too late for another.
A raw practice mark is still a practice mark
Worked example Read the qualifier
Original teaching example. A student scores 21/42 on an unfamiliar third-party practice paper and sees the indicative 20/42 figure in JGU’s 2026 blog. Have they secured admission?
Why this works: No. The score is from practice, not an official sitting; the published number is indicative and belongs to a stated admissions context. The student must meet current eligibility and selection requirements and obtain a decision from the university.
Why the tempting route fails: Declaring "one mark above the cutoff" ignores the source of the score and removes the qualification from the university’s statement. A raw practice result cannot establish an offer.
Turn the uncertainty into useful preparation
Prepare reading and reasoning with the official LNAT materials. Use a fresh passage to identify whether you are missing the conclusion, importing outside knowledge or selecting an answer stronger than the evidence supports. Review the reasoning before adding another paper.
Our suggested log has four fields: paper source, first attempt or repeat, mistake and next action. For example: "I selected an answer saying every when the passage said some. Next time I will underline the quantifier before deciding." This keeps progress tied to observable work rather than a guessed admissions probability.
If the published pages leave your 2027 requirement unclear, ask JGLS admissions for the current rule for the named programme. Keep that reply with your application documents. This guide does not assume that the absence of a published cutoff means there is no competitive selection.
