For 2027 entry, LSE requires the LNAT: sit it by 31 December 2026; the UCAS deadline is 13 January 2027.1,2 How the score is used: MCQ is part of holistic assessment and can distinguish similarly qualified applicants. No set minimum score.2 The essay: Normally not considered for most applicants; LSE reserves the right to assess it, including for nontraditional or less familiar qualifications.2 Offer holders averaged 25.52 out of 42 in Section A (2021-22). An average is not a minimum: many people in that group scored below it.3
